Requesting a Website restore from backup

This Knowledge base article will assist you in organising a website to be restored from a backup. My Cloud host keep 2 weeks’ worth of backups. We do recommend that ALL client perform regular backups of their websites and SQL databases however if you do get stuck we do offer this service. To request a backup to be restored please follow the below steps.

  1. Open up a web browser and login to the mycloudhost client area
  2. From the Services drop down menu click on Order New Services
  3. Click on (Choose Another Category) and from the list of services click on Services
  4. Click on Order Now for the Website restore
  5. Under Additional Required Information please enter the domain name that you require to be restored and also the type of restore (Full Website, SQL database, or Just the website data and no database).
  6. Click on Checkout >>
  7. Please review the order and read the terms and conditions and tick the box. Then click on Complete Order.
  8. You will be directed to an Insane Technologies PayPal page Please fill out all the details and click on Pay (NOTE: you don’t need a paypal account to do this)
  9. Once you have completed the order you will sent a Paid invoice as confirmation that the invoice has been paid. And one of our hosting engineers will contact you.
